Nodosaur

Nodosaurs, like their close relatives, ankylosaurs, were herbivorous dinosaurs armored with a shield of bony nodules (osteoderms) and spines. They appeared during the Late Jurassic period, about 155 million years ago, and lived until the end of the Late Cretaceous period, about 66 million years ago. They were quadrupedal dinosaurs of medium or large size, herbivorous, with small, leaf-shaped teeth. Unlike ankylosaurs, nodosaurs did not have clubs at the ends of their tails, but had flexible tips instead.
