Squalicorax is an extinct genus of sharks related to the Great White, the largest living predatory shark. Also known as "Crow Sharks," they lived during the Cretaceous period, 145–65 million years ago, alongside the dinosaurs. They were coastal predators, feeding on ichthyosaurs, small mosasaurs, and turtles, but they did not hesitate to scavenge or attack injured dinosaurs, as their teeth have been discovered embedded in the leg bone of a hadrosaur. Specimens of this shark group reached between 2 and 5 meters in length.
Their teeth are found mainly in Morocco, measure 2-3 cm in length, are extremely serrated, and are still sharp.
