Authentic specimen of Sea lily authentic fossilized Scyphocrinites elegans from Morocco, approximately 420 million years old, in matrix. Due to its age, the specimen may have imperfections and repaired areas (glues) that are perfectly normal and inevitable for such an old fossil, but it is, overall, in good condition. In particular, this specimen shows slight blue marks left by the process of tracing and extracting the specimen from the quarry. Also, the present specimen is not a composite, as many Moroccan Sea Lily specimens are, but rather a reconstruction of several pieces, all belonging to the same specimen – normal procedure for such a large specimen.
