Authentic fossilized tooth specimen of Carcharodontosaurus saharicus (also known as the African T-Rex) from Morocco, approximately 100 million years old. A rare, large dinosaur tooth in very good condition, still retaining traces of the lateral serrations characteristic of the feared carnivorous dinosaurs. Comes in a wooden box with a transparent lid, perfect for display, and is accompanied by a Certificate of authenticity signed by a professional geologist who examined the specimen.
Reptiles have teeth that are replaced many times during their lives (even weekly). This, combined with the durability of the enamel and the long time they lived, means that fossilized teeth of mosasaurs, plesiosaurs, pterosaurs, and dinosaurs are common in various parts of the world.
Due to the age of the specimen, the fragmentary nature of the fossil deposits in Morocco, and local extraction methods, the tooth may exhibit imperfections and repaired areas (glued sections) that are completely normal and unavoidable, but it is overall in good condition, with the enamel layer nearly intact. We invite you to carefully review the product photos to identify any natural imperfections or potential repairs on the specimen.
