Reptiles have teeth that are replaced many times during their lives (even weekly). This, combined with the durability of the enamel and the long time they lived, means that fossilized teeth of mosasaurs, plesiosaurs, pterosaurs, and dinosaurs are common in various parts of the world.
Due to the age of the specimen, the fragmentary nature of the fossil deposits in Morocco, and local extraction methods, the tooth may exhibit imperfections and repaired areas (glued sections) that are completely normal and unavoidable, but it is overall in good condition, with the enamel layer nearly intact. We invite you to carefully review the product photos to identify any natural imperfections or potential repairs on the specimen.

I just received this specimen and I am very pleased with the way it was packaged — with great care and even a few pleasant surprises in the package. The fossil looks exactly like the photos; I appreciate the fact that you have included many clear and detailed images on the site. A gorgeous specimen! This is my first time ordering from you and, who knows, I may start a small collection. Congratulations on this unique site for us!
