Authentic specimen of fossilized Gryphaea clam in matrix from Great Britain, approximately 180 million years old. The matrix is formed from the sedimentary rock in which the clam was found. An interesting fossil, contemporary with the dinosaurs!

Due to its age, the specimen may have imperfections and repaired areas (glued sections) that are perfectly normal and inevitable for such an old fossil, but it is, overall, in good condition.
