Handmade necklace with an authentic fossilized Bull Shark tooth pendant on a silver-colored metal chain. The tooth is approximately 20 million years old and comes from the USA. A unique opportunity to wear a special piece of jewelry with an impressive past!
Sharks have a very large number of teeth, in multiple rows, which are replaced many times during their lives (even weekly). This, combined with the durability of the enamel and the long period of time they lived, means that fossilized shark teeth are common in various parts of the world.
Due to the age of the specimen, the tooth may have imperfections and repaired areas (glued sections) which are perfectly normal and unavoidable, but it is, overall, in good condition, with the enamel layer almost intact. Shark teeth from Belgium are found on riverbeds and are smoothed by the action of water over time. We invite you to carefully study the product photos to identify natural imperfections and possible repairs to the specimen.

The product consists of a single handmade necklace with an authentic fossilized Bull Shark tooth pendant on a silver-colored metal chain, the one in the pictures above, and comes with a brochure containing specific geological and paleontological information.
The Bull Shark is a species of shark that has lived from the Miocene epoch, 23 million years ago, to the present day. It is capable of swimming in both saltwater and freshwater, frequently traveling upstream along rivers. It is a marine predator, feeding mainly on fish, as well as other sharks. It is known as one of the most dangerous sharks, being responsible for numerous attacks on humans. It can reach up to 4 meters in length.
Its teeth are broad and triangular, reaching up to 4 cm in length, with serrations on the sides. Due to erosion over time, the serrations may no longer be present on fossils.
